12/10/2007: The Mountain View Fire Protection District and the Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association have partnered together for the purpose of sponsoring "Sparky," a robotic dog that will be used to present educational messages to citizens of the communities both entities serve.  The picture (click on it to enlarge) portrays District Board President Judy Rusk being presented a check from Tri-State representative Bill Dashiell.  This check will go towards the purchase of this educational tool which will be in-service sometime in the early part of January, 2008.
