MVFPD | Station #5 - Brownsville

 10911 Dobbins Run, Lafayette, Colorado 80026 | 303-828-3768

The Brownsville station was built in 1975 to provide fire protection to the southern portion of the Fire District.  Response from this station covers the Brownsville subdivision, Highway 287 and parts of the Town of Erie.  When the station was first constructed it had two bays.  Then in 1982, two large apparatus bays were added to the north of the station.

Station meetings and training were held behind the engine and tanker, making for a small area to do business.  In 1995 an addition was built on the south side of the building.  This provided an area for meetings and for classroom teaching, as well as a kitchen area.  The volunteers did the majority of the remodel.
